About me and what I do...

Hello and welcome to my website. Here you will find information about my work as a voice, speech and singing teacher.

I was born in London and trained initially as a classical singer at Trinity College of Music, London and with Professor Yevgenia Sheveliova in Moscow, Russia. An interest in the spoken voice led me to the Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London where I graduated with Distinction from the MA Voice Studies Course.

I have been teaching and coaching voice for thirty years working with people from all walks of life. I taught voice and speech skills to actors at The Poor School in London and now run a private practice from my home in Teddington, South West London.  Areas where I may be able to help you include:

  • Improving and developing your basic voice and speech skills:- Alignment; Breathing; Support of the Voice; Tone; Resonance; Articulation and Clarity...

  • Working on specific speech problems such as lisping or stammering...
  • Building confidence for job, university or college interviews, drama school or music college auditions...

  • Preparing public speeches and presentations...

  • Developing your singing voice...

I work with adults and children (from age 8) and have an up to date Enhanced DBS certificate.
